ABOUT US
Stemaly Excavating Serves Customers in Evansville, IN, and the Tri-State
Family Owned and Operated
Stemaly Excavating is a family-owned business founded in 1978 in Evansville, IN, by Larry Stemaly and his son, Jeff Stemaly. Larry left a career as a railroad engineer because he wanted to spend more time with family, and in those early days Larry and Jeff worked side-by-side on residential construction projects.
Over the next forty years, the company has grown and diversified to meet the needs of our residential and commercial customers while remaining committed to delivering the highest quality work. Jeff Stemaly says that what sets our company apart from other excavating companies in Evansville, IN, and the Tri-State is the wide range of civil services Stemely Excavating has to offer, and an on-going commitment to always meeting the customer’s specifications on each project.
